Cloth diaper friendly detergent?

We bought our baby a reusable swim diaper, and you are only supposed to use a “cloth diaper friendly” detergent on it so that the pad stays absorbent. We would like a natural detergent. 
Any suggestions? Thank you!

You can make your own detergent and it’s so cheap and makes way more than you can buy in the store! We do this and you can use it on your clothes and baby’s.
