What does it mean when you been talking to a guy for 7 months and he say

“We just chilling for real we not rushing things”

But he says he care for you or even miss you

Long story short I haven’t dated anyone in 5 years since my ex was cheating on me with my cousin and had a baby with her. This is the first guy that I like and also talk to since then but I feel like he sending mixed messages and I’m not here for it. So can y’all give me y’all opinion before I just dropped him
