Today was my hardest day as a mom. About 2 weeks ago we went to Corbins 1st cardiology appointment prepared to plan a surgery date to repair the VSD we already knew about. However, they found during the appointment he also had pulmonary stenosis (his pulmonary valve was too thick causing high pressure in the lower ventricles.) Today he has that valve fixed by catheterization and a balloon. Right now he is in recovery, he is doing great and we are going to stay the night here at the hospital. After this we will be watching his VSD very closely and hoping it will close on its own, we just gotta keep praying. #mommystoughboy
