Human anatomy and physiology

Y’all! I need tips on studying for human anatomy and physiology classes. I suck and have to retake THE EASIEST human anatomy class because, although in did study daily, my grade in that class sucks. I need help!

I already made flash cards. Any other tips? Thanks!

Ooooo!!! I am passing this class and semester with a 4.0!! Some study tips that I use is to think of names that remind you of the body part or whatever you are learning about! Like for cranial parts, the styloid process, I remember that by saying stylus. Little things that remind me of the part or what you are learning helps! Comparing to what you already know to help remember!

I passed that class, but only just 😂😂😂 I made a 70... lol. I could’ve studied harder but what I done was just take lots of notes and used flash cards and studied vocabulary. For me, understanding the vocabulary and what each word means helps me understand the course better.

What I did for that course was I used the slides from the prof as a general review of the concepts (I like to write it out as it helps me memorize better) then i used the textbook to understand and absorb the material, i wouldn’t write anything down unless it was super crucial and it wasn’t in the class slides. I allowed myself to just take the time to read and really understand the concepts. Doing this helped me get a good mark in the class, I hope it helps for you!

My now-husband used me as a live model. For whatever reason, it helped him keep the material straight better than using a diagram or flash cards. He obviously couldn't cut me open to examine organs or whatever, but just being able to visualize where they would be on a real human helped a lot. He also came up with expressions and sayings for keeping certain things straight (like the different vertebrae) but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

I looooovvved that class and I got an A in part one and two. It was split up at my college. We had a study group of like four people but no more than that. I liked explaining things to people. Like this happens because of x,y and z. We used flash cards and always printed everything from power points to study guides. DO NOT think you can just remember it. Write it down and take good notes. Not vague ones.

I H-A-T-E A&P in all honesty 😂 I’m taking the second part of it at my school and I seriously dread that class. I find myself making flash cards, label pictures, and re-writing detailed branches out notes and I use lots of bright colors to keep my attention that seems to help me out a lot

lol anatomy is hard. i’m retaking a&p 1 and 2 cus i need at least a B n i got a C in both classes. a study group might help. i’m a visual learner so having a picture to label or drawing the thing from scratch usually help me. if you’re hands on maybe see if they have like figurines u can look at n see which part is where
