Hey guys, I’ve started taking the pill (last Thursday one the first day of my period). However, due to the layout of my pill packet, and the day I got my period (I had to start on ‘Thursday’ in the green section, active pills), my next period will arrive 16 days after the start of my last period (the bottom row of pills are the inactive ones). This means that when I’m away on holiday for New Years, I’ll have my period the entire time. I was wondering if I could take the rest of the pills in the green section (active pills) before starting the bottom row (inactive pills) to delay my period by a few days, so I won’t have it on my holiday? Is this safe? Are the pills in the green section (active) any different to the rest of the active pills? This is the Microgynon 20 ED pill. Thank you!
