My Sweet Rainbow

Miss Jacqueline Cecilia was born on 12/19/18 At 9:08 A.M. weighing in at 5 lbs 15 oz and 18.5 inches in length. She was delivered by scheduled c-section at 37+2 weeks.

My doctor admitted me to the ante-partum unit 2 weeks ago due to a low Amniotic Fluid level of 5.1 and small measurements - to be monitored where I stayed until scheduled the c section. She was also very much breech!

I was not nervous at all for the c-section until I got the epidural and was laying on the table. I hated not being able to feel in control of my legs but my anthesiolgoist and nurses were amazing at calming me down. I did vomit some water on the table, but once I got through it I couldn’t imagine giving birth to my children any other way 🥰

My sweet girl is so precious 😍 she’s currently in Nicu to monitor a grunting/snoring she does while she sleeps but otherwise she is super healthy. Hopefully it clears up and I can have her back in my arms again by tomorrow. I’m still pumping and sending the colostrum up to nicu every 2 hours.
