Do cats know you’re pregnant?

My periods due Christmas, but the last 2 days my cat ( Doesn’t enjoy being touched ) has been soooooo clingy. He’s actually dead asleep on my face right now. I’ve heard a few things about animals sensing pregnancy before, and I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced a pets behavior changes when they first found out they were pregnant.

Yes! My pup already loves to cuddle, but before I knew, she was constantly laying her head on my belly, licking it, etc. when I started contracting (MC at 20wks, I contracted for a WEEK STRAIGHT bc I was stupid and thought they were cramps that made me collapse?) she would cry and never leave me alone. She was so sad looking too.

Our family dog knew before I'd told anyone, he is a crazy springer and always jumped at/on me when I sat down but the 1st time I saw him after becoming pregnant he ran to me to jump then slowly eased his way on to my knee. Everyone was really confused and I was thinking he was giving the game away 🙈😂😂 he also became extremely protective of me, he doesn't growl but for the 1st few months not even my mum (his owner) could come near me without him fretting and either growling or crying. Amazing 😍😍

Yes! We believe our dog and 2 cats knew before we found out.
Our dog, Faith, would not leave me alone and followed me everywhere. It was driving me crazy!
Our 2 cats were super clingy. One in particular never sits on you and he was all over me trying to cuddle up.

My husband’s cat use to love me before I had my first pregnancy n than all of a sudden she would hiss at me n runaway from me. This started a couple of days before I got my bfp up until I gave birth. This time around she acts normal around me
