Would you consider texting other women a form of cheating?!

Good Morning Ladies! So, my friend recently found out that her boyfriend has been contacting other women via Instagram, text messages, and etc. flirting and things. He’s been sending them emojis such as 🤤 and he also thought it was funny when one of them cracked a joke about him cheating on my friend. I told her that I personally would consider it a form of cheating because if we are in a monogamous relationship, you shouldn’t be flirting with other women and discussing things that you wouldn’t want me to discuss with another man. No, it’s not sexual intercourse, but that doesn’t mean it should be swept under the rug and not talked about. That was my perspective on it, but I would love to get you ladies opinion on it and know how you would handle the situation if it was you.
