I'm not sure how far to go with the parenting thing for his children. We want to have a family so I feel like we need to work together. We have his kids here full time now and I am not sure what happened at their mothers house or whether they are just being kids, but they rarely listen. I know this will take time and persistence but it is very hard. I tried to get the 5 year old to brush her teeth in the morning and she just won't. Her Dad just lets her go without brushing them and I really don't agree with this at all. She's not my child so Im not sure how far to push this? I feel like we both need to work together and if we aren't consistent they are never going to listen.
