3 months?!

So I googled when will my period start after i stopped my BC and i havent had a period since November 11th. I was told that it was withdrawal not a regular period. But of course google said it can take up to 3 months before I have a real period. And now that delays my TTC. I am late according to the app. Has anyone had this issue? I stopped my birth control because I wasnt taking it on time. And only had it for less than a month. But it was also low hormones.
