Transfer students??

Hey y'all I'm thinking about transferring colleges but I have no clue where to start with the process so if you've ever transferred can you drop some ideas? Thanks!!

I started at a college 1.5 hours from my hometown, and transferred to a school closer to home after 2 years. I think I just looked at the school I wanted to transfer to’s website and selected “transfer student” and it told me the process. Good luck

So you’ll apply to the new college you want to go to. Click around on the website they should have a link for transfer students. When doing the application fill out what college you’ve gone to. Make sure to send transcripts. And then just wait to be accepted. Boom transfer student. If you’re really nervous about it see an advisor. Either at your current school or the new school.. or both.. what ever makes you feel like you’ve got it all covered. Good luck.

I started on college boards college search. I used their search tool to narrow down a list of colleges meeting my specifications and then looked at each of them from there, its really helpful!
