Period on wedding day?

Has anyone had their period on their wedding day? This is a big concern of mine. Big white dress and blood don’t seem like a good mix. It’s hard enough to pee in a big dress let alone change a tampon multiple times. Has anyone gone through this and it go fine?

My doc prescribed meds that can postpone a period. You take one pill
  a day that delays the period and as soon as you. Stop the pill then you'll. Start your period some time later. I can't remember the name of the pills but your doc will know.

Buy some period undies and use a bigger tampon than normal.

Use a cup I work 10 hour shifts sometimes 12 and I don’t have to empty it until I’m home and comfortable in my bathroom
