Is Ferber Method the answer?

My 5 MO has begun waking every hour in the night and when I go into his room he's sleeping and just wants his paci. I pop it back in and he's asleep and quiet.. for another hour. 
I'm wondering if the Ferber method would work in this case. What are your thoughts? Advice?

It's the only thing that works for my baby. I'd say it all depends on your baby. You could try it a few nights & see how it goes. I never let my baby get hysterical in her crying though. If she starts getting too worked up, I'll pick her up & soother her for 5 min & then lay her back down once she's calm & she usually goes to sleep after that.

Worked for us too! We took away the paci and started sleep training on the same night. We are a month without paci and have gone from 4-5 night feedings to 1. Naps used to be 45 minutes and they are up to an hour - an hour and 45 minutes and baby is much happier!

Only thing that worked for my stubborn little girl. Now she sleeps (for the most part) through the night with maybe one wake up.

It worked for my son.. he had terrible issue after having his 4 month shots with sleeping and he was waking every hour for 1.5 Ish weeks before I did it .. took about 3 nights and he was back to normal! Now wakes his once at 5:30 to eat and back to bed ASAP. I also did it with naps cause he was absolutely
Refusing nap time
But could see he was exhausted ...
