Teething hell

Anyone else's baby seem fine during the day but completely freaks out all. Night. Long? Im pretty sure it's from teething. Usually her temp is 97 but today is 99.8 which I know isnt considered a fever but it's higher than her normal and her poops are super runny and green. During the day she's a little more cuddly than normal. at night she'll fall asleep but will wake up a few minutes later. She'll only sleep if I'm holding her and even then she'll sleep for a while and then she'll arch her back and start screaming. My husband went to the pharmacy for teething gel but they told him there was a huge recall. Has anyone else heard this?? We live in a small town so I'm wondering if it's all teething gel or just a specific brand?? Ugh someone help me!

The oral gel has been recalled and is not recommended, at all no matter the brand. My daughter has 3 full teeth and is currently cutting 2 more (just turned 6 months). It can be a tough time. To help her we give her Tylenol, and frozen teething rings and of course extra cuddles. It sounds like your Bub's may be coming down with something, maybe a cold. Ours has just come down with one. Teething takes so much of their energy. Best of luck momma

About every 6 hours. You can go every 4-6 hours but we like to give it only if she really needs it and longer space between doses.

How often do you give Tylenol for teething?

Is there a reason you think it’s teething and not a cold? Sounds similar to what my son went through two weeks ago. Changes to poop, unable to sleep by himself, higher temp. Either way, sorry you are going through a rough time!

Some people I know swear by Pure Vanilla extract.. supposedly numbs the gums and they get the organic kind. My baby has been teething since the day she turned 2 months and is still teething at 6 months. We give her Tylenol on extra bad nights, we offer chilled teethers, or regular teethers and she likes them but I mostly just have to let her nurse it out or cuddle her until she relaxes

Omg!!! This is us right now- it's freaking terrible! He is awesome all day then I put him down and he literally loses his shit- a few nights ago it was ALL NIGHT LONG! I finally had to just let him cry and naturally he woke up fresh as a daisy. My babe sleeps for 12-14 hours every night so this is insane
