I don’t know if it’s true but I read somewhere that most newborns come out looking like dad so that dad “accepts” them as their own. A mother knows the baby she just gave birth to is her own but biologically it helps dad connect if the baby visually looks like him.

My son didn’t really look like either of us when he was born. He’s one now and definitely looks like his daddy! He has some of my features but he’s his daddy’s twin. 
I’m 33wks with our second, another boy, and I can’t wait to see if he looks like his big brother and daddy or me!

My boy came out looking just like his daddy and now at 7 months I think he looks like me, but sometimes he makes faces that remind me just like his daddy!
