Yall im so irked

For like 4 years I've been waiting for my dad to buy a house, to get his stuff out of storage.. so I could get the board game my brother bought me, years ago when he came home on leave when he was in the army, my dad had stored when he sold the house we grew up in because I asked him to as I was out on my own and wanted to keep it safe... Well he finally bought a house, he had it renovated, and got his stuff out of storage.. and I asked about my board game, it was the 40th edition board game "Risk" which had over 300 die cast miniature figures, each army has it's own little velvet draw string bag, a certificate of authenticity, a pair of special edition battle dice.. anyways, I asked him about it when he got everything out of his storage unit.. and my dad was like "I threw it away because it got nasty" while I know that a lot of his stuff did get ruined in the storage unit because it wasn't a climate controlled storage place, I'm still pretty upset that he threw away the metal die cast pieces and the dice.. like all of those could have been saved and I could have just bought a new game of risk and replaced the plastic armies with the die cast ones.. 😑 anyways it shouldn't be that big of a deal.. but I'm still kinda irked about it. 🤷 it's a little pricey for a board game (about $275) but honestly, it's worth it.
