Can you tell a difference between a real diamond and cubic zirconia?

I don’t want my bf in debt over my engagement ring but I also want a beautiful ring that I’m proud to show off, can anyone even tell the difference?

I don't want diamonds. I've told my boyfriend lots of times. I'm ok with something that looks like diamond but an actual diamond I'll make him return. It's too expensive for a dumb rock that children had to mine for and die for. Not worth it. 🙄  They aren't that pretty. The money is better spent on a house, car, vacation, really I'd rather spend the money on literally anything else

Look for white sapphires or moissanite rings cost less than a diamond and just as beautiful

Idk about anyone else, but unless you shove your ring in my face, chance are I'm not even noticing it. Even if you do shove it in my face, I have no idea what it is and I'm not likely to ask any questions about it. I'll say "oh that's beautiful!" Because that's the nice thing to say. That's about it.

Look at moissanite stone, they are way cheaper than diamonds, almost just as hard but more flawless than a diamond!

A jeweler can but if it’s cut well most people can’t tell the difference. You can always have your CZ stone switched out for a real diamond later on.

My fiancé is getting me a pink sapphire ring when we have the money for it. If you’re okay with not having a “traditional” ring then I’d suggest sapphires or morganite ! They’re just as pretty and much cheaper. Plus you have something unique that won’t look like everyone else’s run of the mill engagement ring

I honestly can never tell the difference. Those and any lab created gem I cannot tell. If it’s sparkly it gets my attention expensive or cheap 😂 the only thing I care about is the band since I have such a bad nickel allergy anything fake I wouldn’t be able to wear.
