I had a huge gush of bright red blood yesterday then bleeding the rest of the evening—including a decent sized clot. I got in to see my OB this morning. Turned out to be a SCH. I was so happily surprised since I assumed I was miscarrying. The large dark spot is the hematoma and the gestational sac is the small one. Looks horrifying in comparison, but the clot is only about 2cm wide. I’m “taking it easy,” drinking lots of water, and on pelvic rest. I’m not out of the woods yet, but relieved it wasn’t worst case.
