Should I do Surgery or IUI?
Hi everyone - just curious if anyone else has had this?
When I started getting my periods I would have to leave school cause I’d be on the verge of vomiting and crying my eyes out. As I got older, they came and went no problems. 6 yrs ago I took 2-3 Plan B’s in the span of 4-6months ( stupid I know but I was never taught sex Ed, not allowed to have birth control, so we wanted to be extra careful)
Since then, I had some painful periods again but things got a lot worse in the past 2 years. I had to call out of work, pain during sex that made me cry, low back pain, cramps that make me cry myself to sleep. I went to my doctor did 3 vaginal U/S, HSG - That shit hurts!, FSH and AMH, and a Pelvic MRI. Everything came back normal. And with some lifestyle changes, my periods are A LOT better and pain during sex around ovulation occasionally.
Has anyone else had things all come up “normal” and symptoms improved but still moved ahead for surgery?
We’ve been TTC for 18months with no luck, my husband has 20% healthy shaped sperm and our next step is IUI or Clomid or both 🤷🏼♀️
