I've been on Junel birth control since August (about 5 months). I started BC mainly because I really wanted to improve my acne. But I honestly have not seen an improvement. But I also haven't been on a very good skin care regime (like consistently washing my face / using acne products) and in the past I have been and I've used prescription acne meds and such. Now I've just started a new acne regime a few days ago. Nothing prescribed, just face wash and spot treatment etc. Do you think the combination of BC and an acne regime will finally help me? Has junel helped anyone for their acne? Should I get new BC or just keep trying? Just concerned since it has been 5 months and I've heard that ppl see improvements after like 2 months...
