Bf/ father of my child talking to his ex

Currently livid with snooping gone wrong 😬 but I need to know if i lm being irrational or not .. my bf is always texting his ex like they send emotional ass songs back and fourth to each other and a week or so ago he asked her to call him at like 11pm. In my head I’m like what the fuck do y’all possibly have to talk about that late? It’s really bothering me because they were in a 2 year relationship prior to me. I know I might get some “well why are you with him if you don’t trust him” I don’t trust anyone as far as I can throw them tbh because of shit like this. It’s happened to me too many times to count 😓 I really thought he was the last person to do some sneaky shit but here we are.. how should I go about confronting him with this? How would you feel if you were in my situation?
