Zyrtec Safe?

My allergies are killing me.  My dr said that Zyrtec was ok but then I was making sure it’s the right one with the pharmacist and she said it’s NOT safe, and passes through the placenta with unknown side effects.  And she said that’s the same thing for all allergy medicine.
Anyone have good or bad birth stories after using Zyrtec?  I’m 20 weeks along today.  I spent all night sick with indigestion and now my eyes are swollen and my nose is so stuffy my head is killing me.

I take Claritin but on my list of safe medications zyrtec is also listed. I used to take Allegra but it is not safe for pregnancy. I think as long as it’s the regular kind and not Zyrtec D or something with extra it’s fine

Im on Zyrtec and have been just fine. Both my Ob and the pharmacist at my CVS said it was perfectly safe. We just had our anatomy scan and the baby is perfectly healthy too.

Benadryl is fine, but might knock you out!

Super late but it's on my safe list from my OB!

I take Zyrtec and reviewed it with my primary dr and then my OB. Both said it was fine.
