Doc says oral thrush but it’s feeling like it’s raw and definitely uncomfortable

I’d say oral thrush. I get sores like that when I have it. I’d trust your dr rather than asking on a forum though so if he says oral thrush, it’s oral thrush.

Looks like geographic tongue I have it. It comes and goes and is probably one of my biggest insecurities. I’ve just taught myself to speak a certain way so that my mouth doesn’t open up all the way and to visible.

I was treated for thrush twice, didnt go away. Gets worse with certain foods you eat, mine is peanuts and coffee.

Its thrush.  Thrush is just oral yeast and can feel irritated like that.

Thrush will give you sores like that. It’s similar to a yeast infection. My mother had to take medications that would give her thrush pretty frequently.

It’s thrush you may have to scrape your tongue with a toothbrush and use salt or hydrogen peroxide. Throw away your tooth brush after. Mine comes and goes when I eat dairy.
