Help!

slight cramping and some light brown/red spotting after intercourse, why would I be spotting? I had a dr appt Wednesday and had a pap so I don’t know if that could be it.. also we have been trying for a baby all month could it be implantation bleeding? I took a test and it’s negative reason imasking is cause my period isn’t suppose to be here for a week or two why would I be bleeding now
