Does anyone ever get positive ovulation tests?

Question

So I have NEVER gotten a positive ovulation test.  I have 3 kids so I obviously have ovulated in the past but due to some recent events it’s been thought that I haven’t been ovulating.  I was told to take ovulation tests then will have some more blood work done later in my cycle.  Do people actually get positives? I feel like obsessing is only making it a million times worse.

I never got a positive but yesterday I finally did. I also haven’t had s period in 8 months so there’s that. We’re desperate for s baby do we bought the strips to see if we can pin point when to have sex since I don’t get periods I can’t do the math. Prsying I get pregnant now

Ovulation tests are the Bain of my life !!! I moved to tracking temperature as my temps have a clear chart, it took me like 7/8 months to get a positive OPK and I just found I stressed about it more than it helping me. I also got my positive taking the test around 4pm in the afternoon after trying to hold my pee for about 3 hours. I also pee’d in to a clean container and let it rest for a few minutes so it wasn’t so warm and then tested. 
(Yes I know the instructions don’t say to do that but it’s what helped me to get my positives..). Also I found using the strips better than digital and cheaper, maybe try using them together, use the cheap ones to get the positive and confirm with the digital? Xx

I only got a positive on digital opks. When I used the strips I probably gotten a positive but they were very difficult to use and all that extra testing was just too much. With strips, I would test at least 3 times a day, but the digitals, I test once a day.

I’ve always gotten a positive OPK. I first started testing right after my period stopped until I got the hang of it and found that I typically ovulate around cycle day 12 or 13. The only times I haven’t gotten a positive is when I would test too late. I also tried different OPKs. I started with the cheapie test strips but they didn’t seem consistent enough so I bought a clear blue digital advanced and would take both at the same time to see which was more accurate but both seemed to confirm each other. I now just stick to the clear blue digital advanced and always get a PEAK as long as I’m testing when I should. It hasn’t helped us conceive yet but I at least have a better idea of when I ovulate which is about a day or 2 before the app predicts.

I been doing it for two months and have not but decided to try tracking my BBT and see it shows signs of ovulation.
