Should i drop out of college?

I’m 19 and i am going to del mar college for child development. (Which is just a community college) And i’m considering on dropping out to go to a trade and become a certified medical assistant. The only thing thats stopping me from doing that is my parents. They want me to go to college and get a degree, and if i don’t ill just basically be some sort of shame to them. Im not sure if i suck it up and stay at delmar. I have to take remedials cause i cant seem to pass the math part of tsi test.
