When Does Everyone Plan On Announcing

Depends on when I can get an ultrasound. I'm not a stickler for the 12 week rule but I think I'd like to be at least 9 or 10 weeks. I'm automatically high risk, plus I had a miscarriage a few months ago, so I definitely want at least 1 healthy ultrasound first.

My Mum and sisters today. The rest of the family after my first scan. I'd need the support from my Mum and sisters either way so it makes sense for me to tell them.

I was pregnant this past spring/summer and announced around 7-8 weeks only to lose the baby at 11 1/2 weeks. My mom knows and I will tell my older girls but I won’t be announcing to anyone until
10 weeks or later. We had seen the heartbeat twice at 7 weeks and 8 weeks so I know a lot can happen after that point. It was really hard to tell everyone we lost the baby and it would’ve been my fourth. I don’t judge anyone for whatever time they choose to announce, but for me personally I need to wait. 💙

We won't announce to the world (FB) until we're in the clear and feel safe about 14 weeks. We told my parents though in Christmas.
