Can you have your period and still be pregnant?

Can you have your regular period and be pregnant at the same time? Like just because you have your period doesn’t mean you aren’t pregnant? Is that how it works?

No, you don’t have a ‘period’ per say. But you can have bleeding/spotting for various reasons while pregnant.

If your period comes on time, if you bleed for more than 2 days, and if the bleeding is medium/heavy flow, you cannot be pregnant.

You can have spotting or some bleeding through your pregnancy, but you cannot have a period.

Yes a period is shedding of the uterine lining that your body no longer needs because there’s no fertilized egg implanted into it. You can have slight bleeding at different points for different reasons during a pregnancy but that isn’t a period it’s just blood coming out of your vagina. 
If you get a period it means an egg was released and left unfertilized and not implanted and your body was signaled to clean it all out to start rebuilding the environment needed for that process to happen at a later date.

Well I’m not to sure but I do know my mom had her “period” the full 9 months she was pregnant with my sister came like a normal period around the same time. I’m not sure if it’s because she had twins and later on one unfortunately passed at 7 months
