Honestly I'm not sure, as I've never been in that position. It depends on what they say is wrong, how sure they are, and just how low quality of life my baby would have.

We have Ankylosing Spondylitis in my family. It's a tough life. I have it worse than my sisters do, and my cousins don't have it at all (although their father died in May due to complications of AS).
If there was a way to find out before the child is born whether they'll have AS or not, that would be great because honestly it's not a life I wish on anyone. You're ALWAYS tired no matter what you do, you're in pain, you're eyes hurt, your hips are stiff and you can barely move half the time, you exercise for 10 minutes to try keep healthy and you're in severe pain for like a week afterwards, in my cause it causes liver damage and now I'm stressing about what if I need a liver transplant later in life.... Really not something I'd wish on my child.

Yes I would. I would rather not talk about it. But it was something i had to consider. The scientist in me thinks it is selfish to let a being live in constant pain - especially if that pain will result in death.
