I’m being cloned

I have a friend who copies everything I do! From the things I buy, to the way I speak. Once I showed her a pair of glasses I wanted to buy and she ran out and got them before I did! She asks me where I buy things so she can go purchase them.

Now one of my other friends is applying to the same university program as me (she knew I was applying to it), and wants to get into the same workforce as me. This career is Boarder security which will require training on location for 3 months after a criminology degree! This means this girl will be stuck to me for at least 4 years and 3 months, and at the least I will be seeing her around for that long. I might even end up working in the same unit as her! What kills me is she never showed interest in criminology until 2 weeks before applications are due.

I feel like I am never able to be my own person. All of my passions don’t feel personal anymore, and really never have because of them. The university program was the final straw! I feel as though I will never be able to be my own individual.

Thoughts please! Understand how this could be bothersome and quite a sensitive topic. I have cried over not being able to feel like my own individual
