Making your own baby food?

Are any of you ladies currently making your own baby food at home? Plan to make it at home once your baby is old enough?

We did and plan to again when we get blessed with a 2nd child.  I found it to be quite fun, not only do I know exactly what I'm feeding my child , he got a larger variety and it got me to eat more fresh veggies since I would make streamed veggies for dinner and purée some for the little guy weaning him to "regular" food was easier too. We still pull out the baby bullet and whip up toddler smoothies when he refuses his veggies.

We make our own baby food, as organic as possible. Though at times organic may not be available. I just use my kitchen aid food processor, we freeze it in silicone ice cube trays for easy storage and volume making. It's wonderful to know what is actually in all the food.

I did/am. It's easy, I think it's cheaper, and honestly, I bought 1 jar of gerber baby sausages just to try, and I hated it, it smelled like cat food, and had salt, sugar, and was packed in oil. I'm not going to always feed my son organic raw vegan food, I'm not nearly that committed, but I just feel like there is no reason for him to have that at 9 months old. Sometimes it's a chore, but it can be fun too!
