21 weeks- low lying placenta, anyone experience this?

Has anyone ever experienced this? The nurse wasn't very helpful with calming my nerves or explaining anything. Basically told me no sex or anything that requires using those muscles.

My placenta is on border line and dr said they will have to monitor it every month now. It’s not considered low yet. Dr also said No sex for now because they are worried about bleeding. Finding gender was great but now I have to worry about something else 😌

Don’t worry. I had the same problem with my first ( He is 8y now). Follow doctor’s instructions and everything is going to be fine.

I had it this time. But its already moved up. 90% of cases move up by the end of your pregnancy. It's pretty common. Dont worry about it.

I had a full previa at 20 weeks with my second baby. By 38 weeks when he was born, it had shifted upwards enough where it was still considered low lying but high enough so that I could safely delivery vaginally. I had monthly sonograms to monitor its location.
