Reluctant SO?

I'm 34 and my husband is 40. I had my IUD out last month and am ready to ttc #1. DH just started grad school but I don't want to be too much older when I have a baby and I'm of the opinion that if you wait for things to be perfect before having a kid, you'll never have a kid. He agrees with that, but every time I bring it up, he dodges the conversation. I know he wants to have kids, but how can I convince him time is running out? 
Anyone else in this position??

Yes! Husband just started grad school (out of town!). Almost 34 and I told him it was now or never to start trying. He's cool with it but just kind of disinterested. Hyper focused on school. Do u have family/friends around to help support you/baby while he's getting his degree? And talk about it. Relentlessly. He'll come around.

I am 32, my husband is 33 and he is not on a hurry at all to have kids!! I am the one worried that I am getting too old and he always says we should travel more, have more money and all of the excuses tou can think of, before we have a baby. He is not against trying right now, but he is not sad at all every month when my period arrives!
