Bfp after clomid break?

Because of a weird cycle fluke where I never got a full-on period, I’m not doing round 3 of clomid this cycle because we don’t know what cd I’m on. I ovulate weakly on my own, so I know I still have a chance this cycle, but obviously clomid was boosting ovulation for me. Anyone ever take a break from clomid and get a bfp the break cycle or the next cycle on clomid? Anyone need to be on clomid for 3+ consecutive cycles before bfp? Thanks for the feedback!
