Does getting a membrane sweep hurt?

Trying to decide if I want to have it done or not...

I had two done by two different doctors. One didn’t hurt, the other one hurt like hell. Made me feel like I was possessed on the table.. red in the face, back arching to get away from her and my husband asking me if I was ok the whole time lol. Needless to say that sweep put me into labor

I had mine done yesterday. It was uncomfortable but baby is sightly posterior so my doctor had a further reach. It was done in 15 seconds and then just a little sore. For me, I didn’t notice any immediate results but lost my mucus plug this morning so maybe it’s a good sign 🤷🏼‍♀️😊

No it doesn't hurt is just uncomfortable.

Had mine done this morning, it wasn’t painful but it wasn’t comfortable either. I was fine right after but tonight have become more crampy 🤷🏻‍♀️🤞🏻

I’ve heard yes from several people, but haven’t had one myself so not sure!!
