I would suggest having your boyfriend start with his fingers first before you try toys, my boyfriend started with just his fingers for me, and together we went to the drug store and got a thing of lube and then he started to try fingering me while using the lube and then we planned a day where when I felt like i was ready to move further, I skipped out on the toys though.
