I’m single and looking for a bf but I can’t seem to even meet any guys. I don’t know what’s going on but it seems like as soon as I start looking they hide lol any tips on getting out there and meeting people? I’m 18 by the way

Stop looking. Keep yourself busy. Usually you meet people by chance in things you are interested in. Classes, work, school, grocery store, book readings, religious organizations, etc. Be friendly. Funny. Confident. Your personality will shine through. Maybe show some cleavage, sadly men are vain and drawn to those areas. When you look, it usually attracts crappy men. Desperation does the same. Play it cool. Be their friend and see where it goes. If you are in a class together. Hey how did you do on that last test? I didn’t do so well maybe you could tutor me some time? Or offer a compliment. You smell really good what kind of cologne is that? Or that’s a really cool jacket where did you get it, oh I love that store or I’ve never heard of it maybe you could show me some time. In line at the grocery store the person behind you only has a couple items offer to let them go ahead of you and start up a conversation. Find something in common. Everyone is always tired, do you want to grab a coffee some time. Or exercise smile at someone at the gym or when you go running. Walk dogs or take your own out you usually can talk about dogs to break the ice. Don’t go into it that tryout are trying to pick them up. Play it cool and see where it goes. Worst case you make a friend or get a tutor or something.
