Granted I live out of state so I’m only here occasionally it’ll be a few months until I move back. But I’m confused, it seems like he peers into inappropriate topics but he steps back. So I’m always between are we friends or are we friends that kinda flirt? And would this ever materialize to an affair? So far he’s only invited me to lunch and he does pay but all we do is talk nothing more then a side hug at the end.

I know this sounds bad and I don’t want back lash, I need an honest opinion on whether things could actually escalate or if this is how it will be? I just don’t get what the point of inviting me out to lunch to fairly expensive restaurants and then not make any move...I’m around 25 and he’s 44.
