I'm only two days past my missed period,but have taken multiple pregnancy tests to confirm pregnancy. I was seen in the ER tonight for bronchitis and dehydration and they ran a pregnancy test and it showed negative(I had literally peed about a half hour before) but blood work showed hCG levels were 24.3. I'm scheduled to go back on Monday for another blood test to make sure my levels are doubling or at least increasing. The nurse wouldn't say much,but hinted towards me losing the baby when I asked. She made a face I'll never forget and just said "Eeehhhh,I can't say for sure." She would give me no information or anything except be seen in 48 hours.

Obviously, I'm worried and freaking out. Can someone offer me any advice or information on low hCG this early on? Conception date would be around Dec. 12th and the start of my last period was Nov. 28th. I'd appreciate any help and honesty, lots of prayers. I've prayed for this baby for over a year, I don't think I could handle losing it.
