Hi everyone,

Yesterday was my 8 week appointment. There was no heartbeat, and baby was measuring at 5 weeks. She could not make the call yet and wants to see me in 10 days to follow up and determine if I will miscarry. She said that it’s a 50/50 chance of going either way.

10 days is a very long time to wait in this state of uncertainty. It’s tormenting. I have not had any miscarriage signs yet, although my morning sickness stopped 4 days ago.

Do you think I should be preparing for the worst? What are the chances of the baby “catching up” and turning out just fine?
