Time for a nursing/pregnancy bra!?

Currently 6 weeks today and a first time mom (Yay!!). I'm naturally a 34DD but in the last two to three months I've become a 32DDD. Since finding out I'm pregnant I've gotten bigger and very sore. I really want to buy a nursing/pregnancy bra but unsure if I should wait it out or not since I'll unfortunately get bigger. My 34DD bras are becoming much, much tighter. What do you say ladies? And what's a good nursing/pregnancy bra to purchase? Thank you!

6 weeks is so early and if you're planning to breastfeed they will grow still and get bigger. Don't buy too many yet!

I am 31 weeks and have gone from a 36 D to a 38DD. I may need to increase again before I deliver. If your bra is too small/uncomfortable I would recommend buying reg bras in larger sizes. I'm not sure what your typical size is, but the nursing bras were not supportive for me and definitely not comfortable (I'm referring to the kind with cups not sports bra style). Your boobs could grow a lot or not at all. If you do need a bigger size I would not go to Victoria's Secret and drop $50 on a new bra as it may not last your whole pregnancy. Also don't buy more than two in the new size bc you may not stay that size.

I opted for soft sports bras during pregnancy. You can get them decently cheap at Walmart or Target. And way more comfy than an underwire 😉

Find a comfortable, cheap bra that has good cup coverage and use an extender. After you give birth they'll swell in size again and those extenders are handy to have. Personally I found the ones without underwire to be the most comfortable.

I would wait until you're atleast in the second or third trimester. Your breasts will grow more and more. So if you buy one now, you'll most likely be wasting your money since in a few weeks you probably won't be able to wear it.

I bought the nursing tank tops with the built in bra. Cheaper than the bras and much more comfortable. AMAZON. I know the struggle of naturally big breastfeeding as I wear a 32DDD.

I waited until 15 weeks to buy a maternity bra (soft fabric, no seams) I wish I had bought it from day one! The best thing I ever bought myself, made my world a much happier place 😀
