Any baby’s on Zantac or something for the acid reflux ?

How did you go about talking to your doctor about it.

My 12 week old is on Zantac and it’s amazing! He’s like a whole new baby. He use to cry after spitting up and he would spit up A LOT. At first our pediatrician ignored our concerns about it until it got so bad he was actually in for a check up and he spit up everywhere and screamed multiple times. She immediately prescribed him Zantac lol. Basically express your concerns and don’t let them blow you off. You know your baby better than anyone else!

Mine has been on it for a month now and it has been amazing and took us multiple trip to the ER and changing doctors for them to listen to us. Thank God our new pedia listen to us and when she saw how my son always arching and stretching she knew something was up so she gave us Zantac and my son has been a happy baby.

Since my baby's first appt i would tell his doctor how he'd complain and cry with every feeding but not after eating.  She never really paid us any attention about it.  We'd tell her every appt. Finally a week before his 2 month check up she gave him medication for reflux.  My baby  never really spits up tho.  Which makes her believe he has silent reflux

My daughter has been on it since 6weeks (she's 3 months tomorrow).  We just explained how she would choke and gasp for air, fight her feedings, scream in pain and arch her back. We told the doctor how we burp often and keep at an incline for 15-30 minutes. She gave us the option of medicine or continuing to see it through. We chose medicine. It was like night and day when she had her first dose.

My 10 week old daughter started it after her two month appointment. We just explained her symptoms to the doctor and she suggested trying Zantac.

I just explained how feeding time was awful for us, but any time other than feeding was totally fine.  Otherwise they will just blame the fussiness on “colic”.
