Menstrual Cups Good Idea or Bad?

I've been entertaining the idea of trying a menstrual cup for the first time. I've been doing my research and the Luna Cup had really caught my attention. My only worry is that l'll have a hard time with one and it will be uncomfortable. My lady bits are very sensitive. I wasn't able to start using tampons until I was in my late twenties and they're still not that comfortable. What are your opinions on a menstrual cup and which brand worked best for you?

I’ve been using the Diva Cup for two and a half years, give or take, and I will NEVER go back! It is incredibly comfortable once you learn to insert it correctly. I’m also an avid rock climber, and I’m even able to climb without feeling it. As a bonus there is never any leakage. As other people have been saying in the comments, you may need to experiment to find the right brand of cup for you based on the height of your cervix. I got lucky because the Diva Cup—which fits better if you have a higher cervix—worked perfectly for me right away.

I don’t think tampons are comfortable, but I can’t even feel the menstrual cup when it’s in. I prefer the Lena cup. It does take some practice, but it is so worth it!

I have the moon cup and i am in love with it i would highly reccomend getting one and from someone who has only used pads i started using the cup with so much ease even though the idea of a tampon freaks me out i wouldn't ever use one.  The cup is so comfortable you can't even feel it and you don't even know you have your period it's that comfortable

It’s better for the environment and less expensive. It just takes some practice to get used to putting it in.

It seems worth it! Imagine all the money you'd save. I was going to try one but then I got my IUD and it stopped my periods so now I can't try it yet lol
