Looking for advice about a post d&c question:

I’m 22 days post d&c. I haven’t bled at all since the first week.. I’ve been taking cheap HPT everyday since surgery patiently waiting for a negative so that we can TTC again. I’m finally getting vvfl results so I’m assuming the HCG is almost down to 0. My doctor instructed us to wait to have sex at 3 weeks, so we waited until last night. The sex was “careful” and we didn’t do anything too crazy in fears of causing damage.

Well, I woke up this morning with some light pink spotting on the toilet paper after using the bathroom, I figured that was normal after having sex for the first time... Here I am a few hours later with bright red bleeding heavier than spotting but lighter than a period, could this be my period? Or should I be worried that this caused some damage from sex? Or could it be infection? I have some discomfort like mild cramps but it feels like it’s right on my cervix not abdominal like they usually are for me.

My mind is racing and the internet has been of no help. I don’t want to bother my doctor or go to the ER if this is nothing!

Does anyone have advice or personal experience with something similar after a d&c?
