Burping?

Do you all burp your little one after nursing for night feedings? My little one falls right back asleep when she’s full and every time I lift her to burp her she wakes up and doesn’t want to go back down again. 
Do any of you skip the burp?

Honestly I rarely burped my son. He had a good latch. There’s no air in my breast for him to swallow like a bottle. We never had gas issues.

Burping is so they aren’t uncomfortable. If they’re sleeping they’re not uncomfortable. Lol, at least that’s how I looked at it. If he’s waking up because of reflux or spitting up, re-evaluate your strategy

I rarely burp my babies. They don't have gas issues and rarely spit up so I only really burped if they were still awake after nursing.

We would pat his back for a couple minutes even if he fell asleep just to make sure but sometimes he wouldn’t burp and he was fine

I did when she was a newborn but after a couple months I just held her upright and cuddled her for a few minutes to let any air escape. Now that she's almost six months I only burp her if I can tell she needs it.

I rarely burped too, only time I did was if I gave him the bottle. We also used gripe water all the time which was so helpful for gas etc.
