My son will be 3 yrs old when the new baby comes in May. He has a very big room. We aren’t finding out the gender until birth, so I’m trying to decide what we should do as far as rooms go. We have a third bedroom (small) that is used as a pub style room with sliding doors out to our deck. Originally I was thinking if it’s a girl, closing up the sliding doors and making the lil room hers. But I’ve been hearing a lot that it’s fine to have lil ones together regardless of gender. So it might be easier to just put them in the same room for now. However, then I worry how a 3 yr old and newborn would do in the same room. Will the 3yr old be climbing in the crib? Waking each other up? Anyone have advise based on experience to share ?
