Can I find out the gender?

So my next appointment is New Year’s Eve and I’ll be 17 weeks. I think it’s just a regular appointment but I want to know the gender because I would love to do a fireworks gender reveal. How should I go about asking my doctor if I can know the gender at my next appointment?

If you aren’t high risk, you will most likely find out the gender at the 20 week ultrasound.

I found out gender with sneak peak at 9 weeks, just had an elective ultrasound at 15 weeks and confirmed it's a girl! You should be able to tell if baby cooperates

Just ask if it’s possible at your stage to find out already what you’re having.

If it’s not your anatomy scan I doubt your doctor will tell you at this point. You could try to get in at a private ultrasound place
