Am I being unreasonable ?

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and for the past few days I've started to experience very sore pains down below almost like period cramps.
My partner has been drinking every day after work 1 or 2 beers cause "he's stressed " at the weekends he seems to be drinking every weekend. Either in the house or with his friends.
Today he went out from 10am playing football with his mates and then stayed out to drink after and didn't come home till half 7 at night . 
We were arguing the whole time because I wasn't happy with him being out drinking all day. Especially that he drinks every weekend ...
Anything could happen and he's out drinking..  I was experiencing pains down below again today and had to ring hospital ... And he accused me of lying... saying nothing is wrong that I'm just pretending to be sore so he comes home...
Wdf? Am I wrong to be going mad at him for being out all day drinking ?? Especially when I have 6 weeks to Go??

I think it’d be helpful if you both sat down and talked about expectations during these last weeks of pregnancy. And to have the conversation when he hasn’t been drinking. If you want zero drinking then he needs to hear that. If he doesn’t agree, then that’s the time to discuss it and you can hopefully come to a compromise or he can come to his senses. Unless you’ve explicitly told him you want no more drinking then I’m not sure you can be very upset with him. I actually think being home by 7:30pm is pretty reasonable. I will say I’d be upset though if I called or texted saying I wasn’t feeling well and thought he should come home and he didn’t. Best of luck!!

Not really,  you do need his emotional and moral support. And don't worry about the cramping, it's most likely your uterus stretching since baby gains so much weight during the last weeks, the uterus needs to expand even more. But yh you should discuss with your husband and tell him that now isn't the moment to feel stressed out and be more present .

It sounds like he needs some space to unwind. Think of how your lives will change after baby, it's so important to enjoy life without a newborn while you can! I do think it's unreasonable to ask him to spend the next 6 weeks with you and not drink at all but I dont think it's unfair to ask him to set aside time for you to spend together (maybe one weekend for the two of you and one for him?) and not to get drunk so he can't drive if needed.

I get annoyed at my husband for going out drinking now that we’re getting closer to my due date! He has been pretty good about coming home when I call and ask him to come home. I think your reaction is pretty normal. It’s a hormonal time for us overall, plus an emotional and scary one as birth gets closer!
