When did your babies start following sounds? My baby is 4 1/2 months old & she’ll follow toys and me around the room, but she won’t even acknowledge a sound.

I was banging pots together as a “startle test”, I’ve been calling her name, & trying to talk to her. She just refuses to look toward or even flinch at sound.

I plan on talking to the pediatrician about this, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Just want to add that she passed her newborn hearing test.
