No sorry I would say not. A blighted ovum means unfortunately an embryo never formed and at 5 weeks an embryo is super tiny. This looks like a clot. A foetus is more tissue like than gloopy. I am so sorry for your loss and not trying to take anything away from you. I understand your pain and wanting answers. I miscarried at almost 10 weeks after finding out babies heart beat had stopped at 6 weeks and 4 days. My baby at this gestational age measured 6.9 mm. Here is a photo to show how tiny and it was confirmed by my doctor. Thoughts are with you xx

No. This is not an embryo at all. An embryo at 5 weeks is the size of an apple seed. That is way to large to be an embryo. I’m sorry for your loss.

Wait. Is the top pic yours, or the bottom?
Top pic could just be a large clot, there aren’t any “defining features”.
Bottom one is absolutely an embryo.

The bottom one is 100% a fetus. You must have been further along than you thought. Like maybe 7-8 weeks.
